He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Almodvar and Demetria Lozano-Almodvar; and his siblings, Luis, Santiago (Chago), Francisca (Paquita) and Nicolasa (Cola).
He is survived by: his wife Ana Rosa (Rosita); his children, Angel Reinaldo "Rey" (Cynthia) and Rosa Elena (Rafael); his grandchildren, Erika Gabrielle, Carlos Andrs, Vctor Manuel and Justin William (Mae); and his great grandchild Chloe Grace. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, godchildren.
He passed away peacefully at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico surrounded by his wife, children, and close family members as a result of complications to Alzheimer Disease.
