He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean Stanley Primm; his daughters, Jackie Lane (Butch Lane) of Murfreesboro, TN and Glennis Wittmuss (Jeff Wittmuss) of Athens, AL.; his grandchildren, Chris Lane, Chad Lane, Terra Lane, Beck Mitchell, Kelley Mitchell, Holden Mitchell, Tailar Furline, Randy Furline, Zachary Wittmuss, Allie Westbrook, Payton Westbrook and Brandon Wittmuss; his parents, J. D. Primm and Kathleen Primm; and his siblings, Glenn Primm and Judy Primm.
Memorials may be made to his home church Flint River Baptist Church, St. Jude, and the Parkinson's Foundation.
