He was predeceased by: his wife Jewel Kubasek; his parents, Albert Cass and Betty Cass; and his brother Jeffrey. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Catanese (Joe), Karen Gill (Roby) and David Cass (Donna); his grandchildren, Joseph Catanese, Courtney Gill, Kelsey Gill, Ryan Cass and Scott Cass; and his brothers, Don (Linda) and Norman (Debi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
