We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2024, at the age of 80, George Billingsley Fletcher of Huntsville, Alabama, born in Alexandria, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though George Billingsley may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George Billingsley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Crockett Billingsley and Jack Turnor Fletcher; and his son John Billingsley Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his son Ley Fletcher; his daughter-in-law Holly Fletcher; his daughter Merritt Fletcher Evripidou; his son-in-law Panayiotis Andreas Evripidou; and his granddaughter Lindsey Fletcher.
