It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Francis McDonough Jr. (Huntsville, Alabama), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George McDonough and Domenica McDonough; his wife Louise Guthrie McDonough; his son Michael; his brother Charles; his children, Kathleen McDonough Anderson, Thomas McDonough and Daniel McDonough; his grandchildren, Kenneth Anderson (Katherine), Stephanie Anderson Weseli (Thomas) and Scott Anderson (Hillary); and his great grandchild Henry Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Optimist Club of Huntsville (P.O. Box 2230, Huntsville, AL 35801-2230).
