With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Mentz Mahoney Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Belle Fuller Mahoney and George Mentz Mahoney Sr. As; and his sister Margaret Belle Crow. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Bailey Mahoney; his children, Ann Mahoney Linde (Warren H. Linde, Jr.) and George Mentz Mahoney III; his grandchildren, Warren H. Linde III (Meghan) and Taylor Linde (Natalie); his great grandchildren, Harwood, Louise and Harvey Linde; and his sibling's children, Belle Crow DuCray and David Andrew Crow.
