We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Gisela Galzerano Afkhami (Huntsville, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theodor (Martha Vowe) and Gisela; her sister Ursula; her husband Arthur Galzerano; her children, Theodor Martin Galzerano, Gregg Christopher Galzerano (Christy) and Andrea Galzerano Mims; her grandchildren, Angela Galzerano, Lyndsey Morgan, Jake Galzerano, David Mims, Sofia Mims, Pejman and Tara Kharrazian; and her friend LeAnn Young.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (200 Longwood Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35801).
In lieu of flowers, Gisela has requested donations to the church.
