He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Byard (Curt) of Hoschton, Georgia and Melissa Barhydt (Fred) of Georgetown, Texas; his grandchild Christie Finkenaur (Allen) of Summerville; his daughters, Katy Morgan (Zach) of Houston, Texas, Lindsay Drummond (Zach) of Bethlehem, Georgia and Drew Barhydt (Rachel) of Miami, Florida; his great grandchildren, Ella Grace Finkenaur, Hannah Rose Finkenaur, Sophia Marie Finkenaur, Raegan Jade Drummond and Shepherd Drew Barhydt; his stepgranddaughters, Stacy Golden (Reid) and Lisa Breytenbach (Cobus); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Maelyn Golden, Cale Golden, Clara Jane Golden, Olivia Breytenbach and Lawson Breytenbach; his siblings, James Lloyd "Bud" Newman and Janet Newman Smith (Glenn); his wife Jacquelon Ann Springer Newman; and his great grandchild Aurora Michelle Drummond. He is also survived by his family, playing trains with the grandchildren.
