He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Gilbreath and Ora Gilbreath; his son Eugene Leon Gilbreath; and his siblings, Charles Ray, Glenn Loyd Gilbreath, Betty Nichols and Janie Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his daughter Joy Stuckey (Lynn); his granddaughters, Jessica Clontz (Steven) and Julia Fullinwider (Cameron); his great grandchild Madeline Clontz; and his sisters, Opal Walker and Dorothy Gribble.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International or Whitesburg Baptist Church Missions.
