He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon E. Warden Sr. and Pearl Viola Harr Warden; his siblings, Charles Warden and Sara Jean Warden Davies; and his son John Warden.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Williams Warden; and his children, Joseph Warden, David Warden, Mark Atkins, Blayne Rose and Ashley Rose Sneed. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
