He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Gordon Clark and Evelyn Bertha Gilmore Clark; his wife Lina Elena Clark; and his sister Barbara Hartman. He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Stoviak and Richard Clark; his children, Cindy Clark-Newby (Jeff) of Huntsville, Alabama and Stuart Clark (Lori) of Hartford, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Tara Hassell, Jessica Whitten (Adam), April Clark Geary (Andrew) and Cameron Clark (Holly); his great grandchildren, Brian Boswell, Hayden Boswell, Kambrie Hassell, Adley Whitten, Max Whitten and Luka Clark; his stepdaughter Cindy Beard (Robert) of Harleyville; and his stepgrandchildren, Jason Loomis and Elena Loomis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
