With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold William Chafin (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on December 20, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyatt Brown Chafin and Gladys Smith Manders; and his siblings, Billy Wayne Chafin, Sr., Jerry Chafin and Vivian Chafin Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife Shelma Marlene Cook Chafin; his children, Andrea "Andee" Chafin Gay (David), Todd Brian Chafin and Brett Christian Chafin (Valerie); his grandchildren, Kelsey Gay, Dalton Gay, Madilyn Chafin, Kyrsten Johnson (Cody) and Caty Mooneyham (Colby); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Johnson, Sarah Hale, Doris Coker (Bobby), Jeannette Martin (Boyd) and Brenda Ashley.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Gary Sinise Foundation for American Veterans and their families.
