He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Wilburn and Bessie K Wilburn; his brother Jimmy Wayne Wilburn; and his son Joseph Allen Wilburn. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue; his children, Cherie Lee Wilburn and Cary Dwayne Wilburn (Sandi); and his siblings, James Larry Wilburn (Anna Belle) and Gilda Wilburn Davis. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
