It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Idella McCrary Pope (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McCrary and Georgia McCrary; and her husband J. P. Pope Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Tometta Burroughs (Anthony), Mary Moore (Milton), Jacqueline Haynes (Dwayne) and J. P. Pope, Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Richard, Dominic, Kristen, Tamari and Lawson Jr.; and her niece Georgia Blackburn. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
