She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Harbin and Mamie White Harbin; her husband Rev. C. W. "Jeff" Bridges; her son Charles Wayne "Rooster" Bridges; and her siblings, Catherine, Stella, Opal, Leonard, Billie, Wayne and Willard.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Bridges Hilliard (Gerome) of Athens, AL; her granddaughter Janell McCutcheon (Chris) of Athens, AL; her great grandchildren, Avery McCutcheon, Brodie McCutcheon and Michael Stanford; her stepgrandchildren, Kim Hamilton and John Gusich; her sister Faye Kimbrough of Gurley, AL; and her close friend Charles Souther. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
