He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hurl Matheney and Mildred Inez Burress Matheney; and his brother James Albert Matheney (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Beard Matheney; his sons, Jack Thomas'Tom'Matheney (Karen) and Jason Lindell Matheney (Pamela); and his grandchildren, Connor Hiott Matheney, Davis James Matheney, Eleanor Adelaide Matheney, Sydney Anna Matheney Power (Brheady) and Emma Grace Matheney.
