He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Marett; his wife Brenda Massengale Marett; his grandparents, Sinclair and Edna Richardson; his mother Mary Richardson Althausen; his brother Bobby Marett; his children, Merri Marett Baldassi (Attilio) of Snellville, GA and Alan Richardson Marett (Laurie) of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Savannah Marett Herder (David), Grace Marett, Aidan Jack Baldassi, Emma Baldassi and Kieran Baldassi; and his sisters, Sara Jean Bennor of Brunswick, GA and Carol Walters of Athens, GA. He was also cherished by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitesburg Baptist Church Missions in Jack's name.
