He is survived by: his wife Bette Cowden Walker of Huntsville, Alabama; his daughters, Cynthia Walker (Stephen Geoffray) of Dallas and Sally Crenshaw (John) of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, John Daniel "Jake" Crenshaw (Amanda) of Atlanta and Kathryn Crenshaw (Taylor Miller) of Washington, D. C.; his nephews, Jeff, Cliff, Chris Coats, Bill and Rick Cowden; and his friends, Betsy Crenshaw and Emma Godfrey.
