He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel E. Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Annette Parry of Madison, James L. Hayes (Rhonda) of Bonifay, FL, Edward Maples of Huntsville, Mary Hall of Huntsville and Janice Pennington (Chuck) of Huntsville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
