He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Edward Estes and Vearl "Granny" Ramsey Estes; his daughter Annette Worthington; and his siblings, Donald Estes and Willodean Estes.
He is survived by: his wife Marion "Pam" Estes; his sons, Jimmy Estes (Lisa), Keith Estes (Charlene), Jason Estes (Sabrina) and Jim Estes (Tammy); and his brother David Estes (Myra). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
