He is survived by: his wife Misti McElroy; his parents, James Lawrence McElroy, Jr. and Jane Brinkley Plaxco (Michael); his siblings, Daniel McElroy, Taylor McElroy (Ashlee) and Wes Plaxco (Krista); and his nephews, Jacob, Austin, Harper, Ellis and Grayson.
