She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Russell (Bennett) and Kenneth Russell; her in-laws, Harold and Martha Hopkins; and her niece Lisa Russell Bornman.

She is survived by: her husband Harold E. Hopkins, Jr. (Butch) of Huntsville, AL; her daughters, Christi Hopkins Mills (Billy) of St. Petersburg, FL and Jodi Hopkins Austin (Steve) of Huntsville, AL; her grandsons, Billy, Chase Mills and David Benjamin Austin; her brothers, Paul Russell (Carol) of Bonita Springs, FL and John; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Hopkins of Indianapolis, IN and Geneie Hopkins Gadd of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
