He is survived by: his wife Annie Lou Spalding; his children, Alice Marie Spalding Pelletier (Milly Harmon) of Grover Beach, CA and David Jay Spalding (Mary) of Virginia; his stepchildren, Melissa Belcher (Bill) and Jeff Hendrix (Sue) of Huntsville; and his siblings, Frances Joy Rose of Surprize, AZ, William Horton and Robert Horton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
