Jean Grigsby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Grigsby of Huntsville, Alabama, born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jean has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grayford Reuben and Lily Maxine Scott; and her sisters, Vicki Suzanne Voyles and Jane Scott Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Larry Wade Grigsby; and her children, Catherine Powers (Charlie), David Grigsby (Shelbie) and Deidre Ross. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
