With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeffery Douglas Pettie in Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Pettie and Zelda Kirkpatrick Pettie. He is survived by: his sister Jill Pettie Howell; his brother-in-law William Howell; his brother Jim Pettie; his sister-in-law Deanea Pettie; his nephew Reece Howell (Courtney); his nieces, Kyndall Pettie and Jillian Pettie; and also Collins.

His 2017 diagnosis of Alzheimer's brought him back to the states and took him from us way too early.
