He is survived by: his children, Abigail Bechtel and Logan Bechtel of Huntsville, AL; his father Thomas Bechtel of Huntsville, AL; his sister Christy Bechtel of Huntsville, AL; and his sister-in-law Sheri Bechtel of Dallas. He is also survived by three nephews.
