He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jessie Clark and Marie Clark; his mother Erlene Perry; his stepfather Wilson Perry; and his father Bruce Parvin Jr..

He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Parvin Holmes, Paula Parvin McBride and Melanie Parvin Naumcheff; his sons-in-law, Butch McBride and David Naumcheff; his grandchildren, Jerilee Salem Holmes, Riley Holmes, John Parvin McBride, Stevie Naumcheff and Abigail Naumcheff; and his wife Marilyn Shelton. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren, boating, car racing, Auburn football, reading the daily paper, winston cigarettes, and spending time with his closest companions, his dogs.
