The memory of Jerry Lynn Hays Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 54, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Hays and Linda Hays. He is survived by: his niece Trinity Scott; his stepdaughter Sidney Cooper; his stepgrandson Jasper Atchley; his brothers, Billy Walther, Pat Ashmore, Darren Carter, Tom Chapman, Greg Tucker and Jeff Goltz; and his close friends, Shawn Bulman and Chris Chapman. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A reception will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).
One of his greatest accomplishments was the development of The Ability Foundation which raised money and installed automatic doors for differently abled students.
