He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Bell and Earl Bentley; his sister Peggy; his brother-in-law Calvin Whitworth; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy and David Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth Goodwin (Greg); his wife Elaine Mitchell; his daughter Laura (Scott Israel); his grandchildren, Bentley Goodwin, Zachary Israel and Madelaine Israel; his siblings-in-law, Butch Mitchell (Djinn) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Sandra Vaughan of Bradenton, Florida; and his sibling's children, John Mitchell (Tammy), Michael Mitchell (Laura), Mickey Whitworth (Margie), Jimmy Whitworth and Sandra Fryer.
