He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Joan DeBusk Garrett; his children, Rodney Garrett (Pamela) of Oviedo, Florida and Jessica Johnson (Bobby) of Huntsville, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Dr. Garrett Dunn (Andrea) of Athens, Clark Dunn (Catherine) of Huntsville, Alabama, Juliana and Meredith Garrett of Oviedo, Florida..
