He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo Heflin Black. He is survived by: his children, Cecillia J. Black (Patrick Graft) of Bristow, VA and William J. Black (Gena) of Huntsville, AL; and his granddaughter Audrey Black of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
