He was predeceased by: his parents, James Warren and Geneva Neal Harper. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Harper; his siblings, Glen Harper, Amelia Kelly (Matthew) and Junko Cook; his sons, Chris Harper (Lauren) and James Harper; his stepchildren, Michael Green (Jennifer) and Olivia Green (Matt); and his grandchildren, Savannah, Hannah, Haleigh, Michael Jr., Adriana and Xavier.
