He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara "Bobbi" Pruett; and his parents, Herman T. Pruett and Opal J. Pruett of Cullman, Ala.. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Pruett (Sonia) of Huntsville, Afton Pruett Travens of Huntsville and Patrick Pruett (Tracey); his grandchildren, Cassandra Campbell Travens (Kevin) of Huntsville, Jimmy Travens of Huntsville, Dr. Clay Pruett (Brittany Pruett) of Washington, D. C., Micah Pruett Lee (David) of Huntsville, Laney Pruett of Atlanta, Caleb Pruett of Huntsville and Katie Beth Pruett of Huntsville; and his sisters, Hazelee and Jupiter "Jupie" Scott of Huntsville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sherwood Baptist Church (6600 Old Madison Pike, Huntsville, AL 35806). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
