He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilbert and Petra Amparano of Montana; his wife Maxine; his children, Monica and David; and his grandson Billy Clardy.
He is survived by: his children, Carol of Cleveland, TN and Jon (Moselle) of Huntsville, AL; and his siblings, William (Billy) of Yuma, AZ and Juanita of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).
