He is survived by: his wife Sue Schmitz; his sons, Davis (Shawna), Jonathan (Cyndi) and Matthew (Amy); his sisters, Cindy Schmitz and Becky McKenzie; and his grandchildren, Carter, Olivia, John Michael, Anderson, Laurel, Wilson, Hollis and Hughes.
