He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Taylor and Nell Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Elayne Taylor; his daughters, Megan Ladwig (Logan) and Meredith Taylor; his grandson Ladwig; his siblings, Dian Etherington (Murray) and Jimmy Taylor; his niece Hannah Etherington; and his friend Tim Ezell (Mimi). He is also survived by many cousins and relatives.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
