With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Hughes Peek (Huntsville, Alabama), born in Madison, Alabama. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James (Jim); her parents, James Robert Hughes and Leona Hickson Hughes; and her siblings, James Monroe Hughes, Averine Hughes Manning and Nelda Hughes Laney.

She is survived by: her son Ricky (Barbie); her grandson Griffin Peek; her sister Loyce Hughes Esslinger; and also, Charles McClain Hughes and Reba Hughes Rosebrough. She is also survived by four nieces; and eleven nephews.
