She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade and Rose. She is survived by: her husband James Holmes; her sisters, Sally Sanders (Nate) and Hilda; her sons, Darrell Wilson (Carol), Frank Wilson and Mark Wilson (Gaylene); her grandchildren, Dara, Salihah, Nathan and Danny; and her caregiver Sandra Love. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church.
