She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Stephens and Mildred Ellis Stephens; and her brothers, Joe of Troy and Carl Stephens of Troy. She is survived by: her siblings, Gloria Caneer and Jack W. Stephens (Nora) of Huntsville; her sister-in-law Judy Stephens of Troy; and her nieces and nephews, Diedre Senn (Stanley), Mark Stephens (Pam), Buford Stephens (Monica), Wendell Stephens (Donna) of Troy, Julie Yarbrough, John Stephens (Amelia) of Huntsville, Matthew Caneer (Vicki) of New Market, Scott Stephens (Jamie) of Roswell, GA and Russell Stephens of Orlando. She is also survived by 20 great nieces and nephews, her family and leaves behind a host of friends.
Her family is extremely thankful to the nursing staff and aides at Signature Gardens for their compassionate care, which began as Covid restrictions were at the highest.
