She was predeceased by : her parents, Haldis Hansen and Anton Lindbak Bartness, Sr. of Norway; her husband Marc Coleman Scriven; her son Keith Anton Scriven; and her half-siblings, Anton Bartness, Jr., Ralf Bartness, Adelaide Jacobs and Ida M Bartness.
She is survived by : her daughter Kirsten Haldis Scriven (Armando Piperno); her grandchildren, Daniele Keith Piperno and Rebecca Haldis Piperno of Rome, Italy; and her brother Olaf L. Bartness of Juneau, Alaska..
She helped coordinate group projects as well as teaching fiber arts until shortly before the arrival of COVID-19.
