She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Houston Baker and Carolyn Baker. She is survived by: her children, Ashlee Gatlin-Young (Tyler), Hustion (Kristi) and Evan (Chelsea); her grandchildren, Ella, Abigail, Josephine and Carter; her siblings, Lori Knight (Dean) and Rodney Baker (Jeanna); and her close friend Gabby. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
