He was predeceased by: his son Steven Wayne Watson. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Horne Watson; his brother Lester Watson; his daughter Jennifer Jane Watson; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Watson, Andria Loczi (Matt), Alyssa Olsson (Matt), Paul Trivisonno and Devon Martin (Greg); and his great grandchild Harper Loczi.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Whitesburg Baptist Church.
