He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. O'Rear and Lena B. O'Rear; and his nephew Shawn Woodliff. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Mike O'Rear (Lou Ann) and Amanda Floyd (Glenn); his grandchildren, William O'Rear and Savannah Grace Floyd (Paul Gallagher); his sister Shirley Woodliff; his great-nephew Austyn Woodliff; his stepchildren, Lori Young, Janey Marie Graves, Larry Young and Holly Woods (Tim); his stepgrandchildren, Andre', Airen and Ariah; and his friend Pete Colbert.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association.
