He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Heston and Coila Heston (Ward); his wife Virginia Heston; his siblings, Gene, Paul, Donald, Raymond, Vern, Lucille and Vada; and his great grandchild Joshua Wattman.

He is survived by: his children, Lonnie (Diana), Gary, Dean, Alvin (Pam) and Norma Hoblit (Steve); and his brother Lloyd Hestoon. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
