He was predeceased by: his grandson Justin Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Sharpe; his sister Ethel Terry of Knoxville; and his children, Ginger Slaton (Jim) and Lewis Dean Sharpe II (Monica). He is also survived by three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
