It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lilah Mae Blackwood (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Nichols and Ola Reno Nichols; her daughter Renee Blackwood; and her sister Melba Shelton (Allen Black). She is survived by: her children, Belita Bright Hyche (Jim Marion) and Milan Wayne Bright (Katie); her sister Carol Garrett; her grandchildren, Grant Ellis Hyche (Michelle), Lacey Gray Schoff (Hans), Shane Bright (Levoy), Dalton Bright, Amber McAdory (Thomas) and Kyndrell Reynolds; and her great grandchildren, Tom Marion (Rachel), Gabriel, Mason Hyche, Ellis, Ryker, Adler Schoff, Audrey McAdory, Gray and Aris Bright.
