Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lillian Elaine Wood of Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 90, on February 16, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Merrill and Bess Merrill of Anniston; her daughter Jill Ellen Wood; and her siblings, Mazie Welch, Mary Fordam, Myrtice Merrill, Betty Reid and W. B. Merrill.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert V. Wood; her children, Bob Wood, Jenny Taylor and Joanie Williams; and her grandchildren, Kate Messervy, Anne Caldwell, Julia, Sara Jo, Emme Taylor and Lily Williams. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations may be made to the First Methodist building fund.
