With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd Chanders Garrison Jr. (Huntsville, Alabama), born in Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on January 7, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Chanders Garrison, Sr. and Edith Anderson Garrison; and his siblings, Joseph Sterling Garrison, Martha Garrison Jackson and Elizabeth Garrison Leatherwood.
He is survived by: his son Lloyd Chanders; his grandsons, Will and Robert; and his sisters, Katherine Garrison Self of Birmingham, Sarah Garrison Sullivan of Tuscaloosa and Elaine Garrison Newman of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by grandfather, 'GP' to his beloved grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Whitesburg Baptist Church or The University of Alabama Huntsville athletic department.
