He is survived by: his daughters, Fay Pope (Edward) and Martha Hernandez (Javier); and his grandchildren, Juanita Goodwin (Robert), Cassandra Lamon (Ron) and B. J. Thompson (Amber). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801).
