She was predeceased by: her parents, William Yates and Leoda Yates; her husband Billy Scudder; her siblings, Marion Yates, R. L. Yates and Georgia Worsham; and her children, Cathy Lindsey, Susie Rogers and Kala Miller.
She is survived by: her son Billy "Buzzy"; her daughter-in-law Angie Scudder; her sister Katharine Smith; and her grandchildren, Dawn Martin (Tony), Celina Gatlin (Dewayne), David Smith, Leann Pohl (Kevin), June Lenderman (Shawn), Ed Rogers, Nathan Scudder and Ashley Willhite (Tommy). She is also survived by numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
